Steve Ritz & the Innovation Sustainable Careers program have the roof covered in fresh edible produce! Last Wednesday students & staff picked corn, tomatoes, cucumbers and eggplant grown by our own student-farmers.

Michael, along with Associate Director of Sustainable Careers Stephen Ritz & other Innovation students, have been working for months cultivating a beautiful rooftop garden that may soon be the largest public youth-led independent year-round food producing entity on the Island of Manhattan! Whew!
